Picasso: 14 Sketchbooks Catalogue
Pace Gallery published the catalogue Picasso: 14 Sketchbooks to coincide with the eponymous exhibition in 2023. The book was designed to resemble a sketchbook, with a faux leather soft cover, sketchbook band, and even pages at the end for the reader to make their own sketches or notes in response to the artwork. The typography and cover design was inspired by the design of the sketchbooks in the exhibition, which ranged from 1900–1959. The inset sticker on the cover was created by designing and producing a real stamp, which was photographed and then offset printed. I saw through every aspect, from design to color correction of the artwork images to printing and production.
